ಸೋದೆ ಮಠದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ

"ಸೋದೆ ಮಠದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ"October 20 : ಸೋದೆ ಶ್ರೀವಾದಿರಾಜ ಮಠದ ಗುರುಪರಂಪರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರೂ, ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಕರೂ ಆದ ಭಾವಿಸಮೀರ ಶ್ರೀವಾದಿರಾಜ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರು 500 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಉಡುಪಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಹಯಗ್ರೀವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಗುಳ್ಳದ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಉದ್ದಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣೀಕರ್ತರಾಗಿ "ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳ"ವನ್ನು  ಪ್ರಪಂಚಕ್ಕೆ  ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಔಷಧೀಯ ಗುಣವುಳ್ಳ ಈ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅನೇಕ ಕೃಷಿಕರು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಬೆಳೆಸಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳ ಬೆಳೆಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋದೆ ಶ್ರೀವಾದಿರಾಜ ಮಠದ ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶ್ವವಲ್ಲಭ ತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಶ್ರೀಮಠದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಟ್ಟುಗುಳ್ಳ ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ವತಃ ತಾವು ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಮಟ್ಟು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಾಗಪಾತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ರಾಯರ ಗದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳದ ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ 2022 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಗುಳ್ಳದ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಶುಭಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಗುರು ವಾದಿರಾಜರ ಕೃಪಾ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ  ನಿದರ್ಶನವೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಪವೃಷ್ಟಿಯಂತೆ ವರುಣನ ಆಗಮನವಾದದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಭಕ್ತರ ಭಾವನೆಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಠದ ದಿವಾನರಾದ ಪಾಡಿಗಾರು ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ತಂತ್ರೀ , ಸೋದೆ ವಾದಿರಾಜ ಮಠ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ರತ್ನಕುಮಾರ್, ಮಟ್ಟು ಗುಳ್ಳ ಬೆಳೆಗಾರರ ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ,ಮಟ್ಟು ವಲಯ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು."Inauguration of mattu bubble farming by Sode Mutt"October 20: Bhavisameera Srivadiraja Gurusarvabhouma, a great and revolutionary in the Guruparampare of Sode Srivadiraza Mutt, 500 years ago, gave bubble seeds to the Brahmins of Mattu village near Udupi with the inspiration of Srihayagreeva God and become responsible for their development.
