ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಸುಬುಧೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು ಸೋದಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದಾಗ ಶ್ರೀವಿಶ್ವವಲ್ಲಭ ತೀರ್ಥರ ಜೊತೆ ಸೋದೆಯ ಸನಿಹದ ಹಳೆಯೂರು ಶಂಕರನಾರಾಯಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಮುತ್ತಿನಕೆರೆ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ , ಹುಣಸೇಹೊಂಡ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವಿಸಮೀರ ಶ್ರೀವಾದಿರಾಜರು ತೀರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಬಂಧದಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ ಬನವಾಸಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಧುಕೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಉಭಯಶ್ರೀಗಳವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.When Mantralaya Mathadish Sri Subudhendra Theertha arrived at Soda Kshetra, Sri Vishwallabha Theertha along with Sodeya, Haleur Shankaranarayana Temple, Muttinakere Venkataramana Temple, Hunasehonda Venkataramana Temple and Bhavisameera Srivadiraja visited the Srimadhukeshwara Temple of Banavasi described in the pilgrimage and took the darshan of the Lord. On this occasion, the administrative class of the temple honoured the Ubhayashree.
