ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯನನ್ನು ದೇವಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ದೇವೇಂದ್ರ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಕುಮಾರಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಸೋದೆ ವಾದಿರಾಜ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀವಿಶ್ವವಲ್ಲಭ ತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಚಾರಣ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಕುಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಅರ್ಚಕ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಎಡಪಡಿತ್ತಾಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದಿವಾನರಾದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ತಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಸಹಿತ ಅನೇಕ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಚಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಸೋಮವಾರಪೇಟೆ ಬಳಿಯ ಹೆಗಡೆಮನೆ ಮೂಲಕ 8km ದೂರ ಚಾರಣ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕುಮಾರಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಮಾರಧಾರಾ ನದಿಯ ಉಗಮಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಥ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯನ ಪಾದಚಿಹ್ನೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.Kumaraparvatha Hill is the place where Lord Subrmanya was appointed as Devasenadhipathi by Lord Devendra. Sri Vishwavallabha Thirtha Swamiji of Sri Sode Vadiraja Matha, went to this hill by trecking along with his disciples. Chief Priest of Sri Kukke Subramanya Temple, Sri Sitarama Edapadithaya, Sri Srinivas Tantri, Divan of Sri Sode Matha were also in the trecking team.Tracking started from Hegademane near Somavarapet , Kodagu, and the team covered almost 8 KMs of trecking and Swamiji took holy dip in the seminary of Kumaradhara river and performed special pooja to holy footstep of Lord Subramanya.
