Lecture series Inaugurated at SMVITM, Bantakal.

A lecture series by eminent academicians and industrialists was inaugurated at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management Bantakal on 08 January 2019. Dr. M. S. Moodithaya, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Nitte University inaugurated the series. In his inaugural address, He emphasized the need for management education in India. He told that the ideas which have a high impact on the society and implemented effectively, are the need of the hour.
Prof. Famida Handy, Professor, School of Social Policy and Practice, University of Pennsylvania gave the first ever lecture in the series. In her address, she explained how globalization is impacting the education scenario in the world. She told that the online courses are being offered by top-class in universities and they are being taken up by the knowledge aspirants.


H.H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Udupi Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt presided over the function. In his presidential address, he illustrated how the concept of management evolved in Udupi by the great saint Shri Vadiraja 500 years ago. He insisted that the institute is committed to giving the best to the students.

Shri Rathnakumar, Secretary of the Trust was present in the dais. Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal welcomed the gathering and Prof. Dr. Vasudeva, Head of CSE department proposed the vote of thanks.  Ms. Anujna Rao and Ms. Shareen Noronha introduced the guests. The program began with the invocation by Sahana Udupa. Ms. Sowmya Bhat compeered the program.
